Karolina Pronckute, b. 1988, Klaipeda, Lithuania
Currently based in Karlshammar, Sweden
Karolina is known for her unique style and mixed media technique. Her art is varied between digital and traditional. Here reality meets fantasy, dream or undiscovered worlds.
Having studied at Eduardas Balsys gymnasium of arts in 2002-2007. Then Karolina went to study animation at Vilnius academy of arts in 2007. She qualified her degree in 2011. However a love and interest in design had a strong hold and she started Interactive design studies at Linnaeus University 2016 in Kalmar.

Karolina Pronckute's debut was in 2015 in personal exhibition "The fifth step" in Kulturhuset, Oskarshamn. The exhibition analysed dreams and what we dream in our dreams.
The sleeping cycle is made from five steps and in the fifth step we dream.
Karolina is interested in dream, fantasy worlds and different cultures as Native Americans or Ancient Egypt.
